RESTORATION
AT LABOUR
CONFERENCE
2025
Help us host our grassroots fringe programme at Labour Conference 2025
Restoration is an organising tendency within Labour to rebuild the party’s traditional role as a populist movement made by and for working class people.
Our proposals for conference 2025 focus on re-orienting the party away from identity, culture war and technocracy and towards issues of class, participation and the challenge of building a new commonwealth in the most geographically centralised economy in the developed world.
We aim to explore three themes:
* Ending The Two Englands
* Keeping The Red Wall Red
* Dignity Of Labour
The themes aim to address questions arising around migration, work and industry that have been buried under the surface of the British political discourse for many years - with any response or disquiet dismissed as ‘populism’
We aim to help the party retain ‘red wall’ constituencies as an integral part of Labour identity and of Labour’s electorate, and to counter the cultural presumptions that Labour’s bias to major metropolitan areas produce by reflex.
