Bring class politics into Labour democracy
“They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war.” Isiah 2:4
We are asking the Labour Party to prioritise class over culture war and identity politics. To focus on the party’s founding purpose. That includes bringing working class people into the party’s executive and as political candidates.
The Labour Party has an increasingly poor record in elevating people in traditional working class and keyworker professions within its internal democracy.
Restoration is not a Labour faction. We aim to make a place for working class professionals inside a pluralist Labour democracy.
We want to ask for Labour’s internal factions to endorse and make way for candidates based on their life experience and professional background.
Are you interested in running for Labour’s National Executive Committee, National Policy Forum and other internal positions?
Did you vote to Leave the European Union?
Are you a working class professional with substantial career experience working in industries like care, manufacture, retail?
